When something feels off and you need answers today, Love City Vet aims to offer same-day urgent care appointments so your pet gets the care they need, when they need it, from a neighborhood vet who knows them.
If your pet is experiencing an emergency medical issue, please call ahead so our team can triage and determine whether we’re able to accommodate their needs. Please note that we do not accept walk-in appointments, and same-day availability depends on doctor and team scheduling.

Urgent Care
Issues that should be seen today, but are usually appropriate for same-day veterinary evaluation:- Vomiting or diarrhea (without collapse)
- Limping or mild injury
- Ear infections / head shaking
- Eye redness or squinting
- Allergic reactions / itching / swelling
- Loss of appetite
- Lethargy / “not acting like themselves”
- Minor wounds / hot spots
- Coughing / sneezing
- Urinary accidents or straining
Emergency
Issues that may be life-threatening and require immediate emergency care:- Difficulty breathing
- Collapse / unresponsiveness
- Seizures
- Suspected toxin ingestion
- Hit by car / major trauma
- Severe bleeding
- Bloated or distended abdomen
- Inability to urinate
- Continuous vomiting / bloody vomiting
- Pale gums / weakness
- Heatstroke
- Active labor complications
