Our Story
Dr. Killian Lenahen, VMD – Founder and Owner: “I set out to build Love City Vet when I realized there was a lack of modern, local, and independent vet care in Philadelphia -specifically in my South Philly neighborhood. I also wanted to create a place where veterinary team members can feel valued and grow personally and professionally.”

Our Logo’s Story
Love City Vet’s logo is a tribute to Dr. Lenahen’s previous senior pets, Monroe and Josephine. Josephine and Monroe would sit together in the wagon as they were wheeled around Philadelphia with passerbyers eager to stop and say hi to the senior pair.
At Love City Vet, pets of all ages and people of all backgrounds are welcome -so hop in the wagon!
